GENERATION H+
semester project
winter 2022/23
The project GENERATION H+ takes a speculative look into the year 2100 and poses the question: does the climate crisis legitimize human genetic modification? What would a society look like where this is the only way to preserve the human species? These are important questions that demand our attention.
In order to adapt to the man-made climate change, humanity had to intervene in its own evolution. Three genetically optimized characters share their experiences in an interactive way, describing a world that had to find unconventional paths to survive. The project challenges established moral values by presenting new contexts and communication channels to raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of the climate crisis.
