For me, good design provides solutions that communicate openly and transparently, whereby functionality leads to a minimalist and objective design language. It is my goal to combine digital and analogue solutions in order use the potential of both worlds. I believe that a multimedia approach will be essential in the future.

I see myself as open to new developement, ideas and work techniques. I can quickly familiarize myself with ongoing processes and acquire new ways of working and methods in a short time. I deal intensively with current trends in design, art and contemporary culture and continuously expand my manual skills. Regular visits to trade fairs, workshops, exhibitions and events expand my specialist knowledge in order to always stay up to date. My areas of interest lie in both product design and communication design, so I develop my skill set in both disciplines almost equally and set myself apart with the specialist knowledge I gained. I feel particularly comfortable with interdisciplinary tasks.
I love to familiarize myself with complex issues and processes that seem confusing at first glance and to find suitable and effective solutions through extensive research, analysis and detailed prototyping. My approach is always characterized by a profound look into the smallest details and my perfectionist way of working leads to perfect and functional product results. At the same time, I never lose sight of the “big picture” and can often help fellow students with a new perspectives. In my product solutions, I always attach great importance to a sustainable, environmentally and socially friendly material selection and processing method. In a world of fast pace and mass consumption, quality and longevity as well as the thought of possible „afterlife“ solutions are natural requirements for my solutions. Transparency and authenticity are particularly important my solutions, it is all about showing the core intention, the function and the material of the product with relentless clarity. I also like to test the limits of communication and use current techniques to challenge, provoke or hold up the mirror to the consumer. I understand my role as a designer as a mediator, I mediate between technology, science, philosophy and the consumer, society. I help translate complex ideas into understandable products for society and thus make a sustainable contribution to social change and progress. For me design is not just a mirror of society, but a profession that transaltes bold and provokative ideas in a way that makes the consumer understand an anticipate change and simplifies the process of adopting new aproches into everyday life.
