The Tizio 505035 emerges from a hands-on case study, built using reclaimed components—frames and lamp heads sourced from flea markets—reassembled and reimagined to breathe new life into this iconic piece of design history.

Though the Tizio remains a staple on desks worldwide, its once-revolutionary halogen technology has become outdated. This project asks: Can we honour the spirit of the original while updating its function for a new era?
